The Village Campus - Villas, Cottages and Apartments
RiverMead expanded to nearly double its size in 2013 by opening The Village campus with 30 open-concept apartments, 14 large cottages with a full basement, two-car garages and lofts. The Village addition has helped grow our campus into an expansive and beautifully planned community that continues to enhance the culture and resources of our town and region.
Distinct to The Village are 24 villa-style homes more recently added and aptly named “The Villas.” These homes offer the combination of privacy and spaciousness of our cottages with the accessibility and community of our apartments. The Adirondack-style architecture is sculpted artfully among the surrounding forest and the grounds are replete with gardens, pathways and lush green lawns.
Each architect-designed Villa features a spacious open-concept design, luxury finishes, large screened porch, beautiful views, and a corner orientation for maximum flow of air and light. Secure underground parking is also available.
The Village campus offers several dining venues, a library, movie theater and card/game room. Shuttle service is offered daily 8am-9pm on demand back and forth between the two campuses. Of course, The Village residents enjoy all of the programming and dining options offered at The Mead campus, as we are one community.
Storage
All RiverMead homes have generally adequate storage spaces for the kinds of items most of our residents need throughout the seasons. Additionally, we offer easily accessible and secure storage spaces for residents who need them for such items as sporting goods and larger keepsakes.
