Brianna Baron is someone who genuinely looks forward to coming to work every single day. Over the past 11 years and across three different positions, she has never had a day that left her disappointed. Now serving as the Accounting Coordinator, Brianna works primarily behind the scenes—but that hasn’t stopped her from forming meaningful relationships with both residents and staff. These connections have been at the heart of her journey and are what make her love for RiverMead grow stronger each day.
Brianna’s passion for numbers began early in life. Her love of math naturally led her to pursue a degree in Business Management, where she developed the skills that would later support her growth at RiverMead. While in college, she worked full time in the culinary department—a role she still holds close to her heart. It was in this role that she discovered how much she enjoyed getting to know the residents and understanding their preferences. Being recognized and appreciated for who she was, not just the position she held, created a deep sense of belonging. That feeling of connection and family was something she knew she couldn’t leave behind after graduation.
Using the knowledge she gained in college, Brianna transitioned into an administrative assistant position, where she quickly demonstrated her work ethic and passion for learning. Though she only held the role for a few months, it helped her build the confidence and experience she needed to take the next step into her current position in accounting.
RiverMead’s warm, welcoming environment has made a lasting impression on Brianna. It’s the only job she’s ever had, and the only one she’s ever wanted. She’s especially grateful for the way the community recognizes each person by name, rather than by title. One of her favorite memories is from her time in Culinary, when a resident warmly sang to her on her birthday—the kind of heartfelt moment that defines what RiverMead means to her.
For Brianna, the most rewarding part of her job is being able to support both the staff and the residents. She finds inspiration in watching her coworkers bring passion and dedication to their roles, and she strives every day to match that same energy. Whether it’s lending a hand to a team member or seeing the joy on a resident’s face when things run seamlessly, she finds fulfillment in every aspect of her work.
When she first started at RiverMead, Brianna was young and shy, unsure of where her path would lead. She thought of her culinary job as a good starting point—never imagining it would become the foundation for a lifelong career. Today, she’s confident, outgoing, and proud to be a leader. She credits RiverMead for helping her grow into the person she is today—a strong, compassionate professional with a deep sense of purpose.
Brianna’s story is a testament to the power of opportunity, connection, and community. Her smile, as she walks through the doors each morning, says it all: she loves what she does, she loves who she works with, and she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
