Due to popular demand, RiverMead has recently expanded the array of Home Health Services that we offer to our Independent Living residents. This program is licensed by the State of New Hampshire and has been carefully designed to serve and support residents in their independent living homes as needs change.
The program is in place to help bridge the gap between Independent Living and Assisted Living. We find, in some cases, residents may not be ready to transition to Assisted Living, but can benefit from some extra care in their home. It also aids residents who need temporary assistance, when, for instance, they are recovering from surgery or have a spouse who has some care needs.
The services range from companionship, organization and pet care to medical-related care such as laboratory services, assessments, and wellness visits, and are billed in half-hour increments. The program is comprised of a professional and friendly team of LNAs, RNs and Nursing Aides.
